Steps
-
1Make the layers first. Use boxes like shoe boxes or similar sizes. You will need 3 boxes.
- Face the base of the box upward to form the mattress base of each bunk layer.
- Layer the boxes one above the other using props such as pop sticks, craft stick, or plastic rods. Either glue these into place using strong glue, or make small holes and insert the poles into place simply by pushing.
-
2Make the bunks. Cover each layer (bottom, middle, and top bunk) as follows:
- Start by putting a small towel and a pillow down.
- Use a mattress if you have one, or just rely on the box base.
-
3Decorate the bunk as wished. If you want to make it really fancy, add curtains for the middle and lower bunks that the dolls can "hide" behind while they sleep.
Tips
- Line them up on a level ground, so that your bed stays straight.
Warnings
- Make sure that you use a sturdy box, or the dolls will be too heavy and will fall down.
