    Go to your home folder(cd ~) or use your preferred File Explorer (Nautilus)

    If you use Nautilus, press CTRL+H to see the hidden folders

    Rename the .Skype folder to .Skype_Old (mv .Skype .Skype_Old)

    Start Skype and log in again
