How to Root Your Android with Framaroot
Rooting an android device has its benefits. You can override the limiter to make your phone faster or remove pre-installed apps and much more. However, rooting an android device is not a walk in the park. If not done correctly, it may brick your phone, turning it into an expensive paperweight. Read on to correctly root your phone using the Framaroot app.

1Have an Android device. Of course, you need an Android device, but it is observed that the device slows down and hence it is advisable to only root if running on Android 4.0.0 or above. This is also because the software which you are using for rooting i.e. Framaroot supports only on these Android versions.Ad

2Download Framaroot.apk in your phone. Go to this website (http://framaroot.net/) and download the latest version of Framaroot for your device.

3Go to settings in your mobile. Select About Phone.

4Repeatedly tap the last option. Repeatedly tap the Build Number until a popup on the bottom of the screen alerts you that 'You are now a developer'. Note: This only works on Android KitKat(4.4.x). If you're using an older version of Android, the developer settings are present from the start.

5As soon as you receive the notice, go to the option Developer Options and tick mark USB debugging. A warning will appear, tap OK.

6Go to the Security option in Settings and enable Unknown Sources.

7Connect your phone to PC using cable.

8Open notifications tab and tap on the option "USB Connected". A window will open. Tap on "Turn on USB Storage". Now you can see your Phone Memory as well as SD Card memory on your PC.

9Copy Framaroot.apk to your SD card. Disconnect your phone and locate it in your run the APK on your phone. Install it and open it.

11Open the menu where three options will appear: 1. Install Superuser 2. Install SuperSU 3. Unroot. Most of the phones support Superuser so tap on it and select Boromir.
- It will show a success message. Restart your phone. Now go to Google Play and install Root Checker app on your phone.

12Open the app and tap on "Verify Root" if a window asks for permission, tap on "Grant". If the app shows any error message, go to Framaroot again and select Unroot option and tap on Boromir. After this select Install SuperSU option and tap Boromir again. Verify root using app again, this time it will surely show a success message.

Tips
- It is advisable to root if your phone runs on Android Version 4.0.0 or above. Please do close all the applications before starting the process.
Warnings
- Rooting will void your phone's warranty. Be sure you are aware of this before rooting your Android.
- Rooting may brick your phone, rendering it useless and unable to be used.
