You can use many video sharing websites such as YouTube and Google Video to add a video to your blog. After uploading your video you will get an embed code that you can copy and paste into your blog's HTML.

1Go to the YouTube homepage and log in using the "Sign In" link in the top-right corner of the page. If you don't have a YouTube account you will have to click on the "Create Account" link to create a new account and then return to the YouTube homepage to sign in.Ad

2Browse to the page that allows you to upload videos by clicking the "Upload" link on the YouTube homepage. The link is located near the search bar at the top.

3Click the "Select File" button to browse to the video file on your computer and select it.

4Fill in the form on the Upload page. It will ask you to provide the following information.
- Title: a short title for your video.
- Description: a brief paragraph describing what your video is about.
- Tags: keywords that people should type in the search bar to find your video (separate each tag with a space in between).
- Video Category: select the category that the video belongs to, such as Comedy, Sports, Music or Film and Animation.
- Language: use the drop-down menu to select the language that your video is in.

5Select "Public: Share your video with the world" under the Broadcast options.

6Mark a dot next to "Enabled" in the page that appears next asking if you want to allow external sites to embed the video that you have uploaded.

7Select "Publish" to make your video live.

3Sign in using your Google account (you may use the login associated with your Gmail account). If you don't have a Google account you will first have to create one using the "Create an account now" link and then return to the login page to sign in.
