How to Nominate a Contribution for a Community Achievements Thread on the wikiHow Forums

-
5If your nomination is taken for a Community Achievements thread, you'll find it under "Amazing Edits;" with "nominated by (@yourusername)" after it.Ad
EditTips
- You can nominate edits from anonymous users as well. Just put their IP address in the box where you would put the username of the user you're nominating.
- You'll want to take a look at previous Community Achievements threads to see what kinds of edits are nominated before making a nomination.
- Submitting a nomination doesn't guarantee that the edit will be noted in a thread. Keep in mind that only so many edits are noted, so some great edits may be missed.
- When explaining why you want the edit you selected to be noted in a thread, be sure to give a good explanation of why you want it noted. Something like "it helped this article to get off to a great start" is a good explanation for an edit that will catch the staff's attention. Don't make it too long, though.
