2Go to the web site www.ontariospca.ca to find your local OSPCA.

3Once you find a shelter near you, you can either go to their web site or go to the shelter in person.

4Once you decide on the animal you want to adopt, you will have to fill out an Adoption Application form.

5The application will be reviewed by the shelter manager, who will let you know whether or not the adoption has been approved.

6If successful, there will be adoption fees. These fees will cover general animal health assessment, vaccinations, de-worming, first year dog license, microchip, and a spay-and-neuter voucher for $25 off.
