How to Sync Microsoft Account with an Android Device

Android provides a traditional method of manual creation of account. During this procedure, the user can create an account setting the parameters by himself. In order to manually create the account, do as instructed.

3From the list of options displayed, select Corporate Account.

4Enter the email address and password of the Microsoft Account and tap on the Manual Setup option.

EditPart 2 of 3: Sync your contacts and calendar
By default, as soon as you have created your account, your contacts and calendar will be synced to the native apps on your device. If they are not synced, you can sync as in following steps.

1Head over to Settings.

2Under the Accounts section, tap the Corporate Account option. The email address of the Microsoft Account will be displayed along with the previous sync details.

3Tap once on the option.
- Ensure that the Contacts and Calendar is checked.
- Optionally, you can sync immediately by clicking the three dots on the upper right corner of the screen and selecting the Sync Now option.

You have the facility of editing synced contacts through your device as well.

2Select a contact (of Microsoft Account).

4Your edits will be saved online. That is the edits in the contact will also be synced and will be reflected on all synced devices.
