Requested moves is a process for requesting the retitling (moving) of an article, template, or project page on Wikipedia. (For retitling files, categories and other items, see When not to use this page.) Please read our article titling policy and our guideline regarding primary topics before moving a page or requesting a page move.

Any autoconfirmed user can use the Move function to perform most moves (see Help:How to move a page). If you have no reason to expect a dispute concerning a move, be bold and move the page. However, it may not always be possible or desirable to do this:

  • Technical reasons may prevent a move, such as when a page may already exist at the target title and require deletion, or if the page to be moved is protected from moves. In these circumstances, administrator help is required to move a page, see below: § Requesting technical moves.
  • A title may be subject to dispute, and discussion may be necessary in order to reach consensus, see below: § Requesting controversial and potentially controversial moves. It is not always necessary to use the requested move process in these circumstances: one option is to start an informal discussion at the article's talk page instead.
  • Unregistered users and new (not yet autoconfirmed) users do not have the capability to move pages. They must request moves using this process.

Most move requests are processed by a group of regular contributors who are familiar with Wikipedia naming conventions, non-binding precedents, and page moving procedures. Requests are generally processed after seven days, although backlogs often develop. If there is a clear consensus after this time, or if the requested move is uncontroversial or technical, the request will be closed and acted upon. If not, the closer may choose to re-list the request to allow more time for consensus to develop, or close it as "no consensus". For the processes involved in closing requests, performing moves, and cleaning up after moves, see Wikipedia:Requested moves/Closing instructions. For a list of all processed moves, see Special:Log/move.

The Move review process can be used to contest a move. It is designed to evaluate a contested close of a move discussion to determine if the close was reasonable, or whether it was inconsistent with the spirit and intent of Wikipedia common practice, policies, or guidelines.

When not to use this page[edit]

Shortcuts:

Separate processes exist for moving certain types of pages, and for changes other than page moves:

Undiscussed moves[edit]

Shortcut:

Anyone can be bold and move a page without discussing it first and gaining an explicit consensus on the talk page. If you consider such a move to be controversial, and the new title has not been in place for a long time, you may revert the move. If you cannot revert the move for technical reasons then you may request a technical move.

Move wars are disruptive, so if you make a bold move and it is reverted, do not make the move again. Instead, follow the procedures laid out in § Requesting controversial and potentially controversial moves.

Requesting technical moves[edit]

Shortcut:

The discussion process is used for potentially controversial moves. If any of the following apply to a desired move, treat it as potentially controversial:

  • There is an existing article (not just a redirect) at the target title;
  • There has been any past debate about the best title for the page;
  • Someone could reasonably disagree with the move.

If a desired move is uncontroversial and technical in nature (e.g. spelling), please feel free to move the page yourself. If the page has recently been moved without discussion, you may revert the move and initiate a discussion on its talk page. In either case, if you are unable to complete the move, request it below.

  • To list a technical request, go to the bottom of this section that you are reading right now; edit the subsection Uncontroversial technical requests; insert the following code at the top:
{{subst:RMassist|<!--old page name, without brackets-->|<!--requested name, without brackets-->|reason= <!--reason for move-->}}
This will automatically insert a bullet and include your signature. Please do not edit the article's talk page.
  • If you object to a proposal listed in the uncontroversial technical requests section, please move it to the Contested technical requests section.

  • Alternatively, if the only obstacle to an uncontroversial move is another page in the way, you can ask for the deletion of the other page. This may apply, for example, if the other page is currently a redirect to the article to be moved, a redirect with no incoming links, or an unnecessary disambiguation page with a minor edit history. To request the other page be deleted, add the following code to the top of the page that is in the way:
{{db-move|<!--page to be moved here-->|<!--reason for move-->}}
This will list the undesired page for deletion under criterion for speedy deletion G6. If the page is a redirect, place the code above the redirection. For a list of articles being considered for uncontroversial speedy deletion, see Category:Candidates for uncontroversial speedy deletion.

Uncontroversial technical requests[edit]

Contested technical requests[edit]

Requests to revert undiscussed moves[edit]

Requesting controversial and potentially controversial moves[edit]

Shortcut:

Use this process if there is any reason to believe a move would be contested. For technical move requests (e.g. spelling and capitalization fixes), see Requesting technical moves.

Do not put more than one open move request on the same article talk page, because this is not supported by the bot that handles updates to this page. Multiple closed move requests may be on the same page, but each should have a unique section heading.

Requesting a single page move[edit]

(To propose moving more than one page—for example, moving a disambiguation page in order to move another page to that title—see "Requesting multiple page moves" below.)

To request a single page move, edit at the bottom of the talk page of the article you want moved, using this format:

{{subst:Requested move|NewName|reason=Place here your rationale for the proposed page name change, ideally referring to applicable naming convention policies and guidelines, and providing evidence in support where appropriate. If your reasoning includes search engine results, please present Google Books or Google News Archive results before providing other web results. Do not sign this.}}

Replace NewName with the requested new name of the page (or with a question mark, if you want more than one possible new name to be considered). Leave the Subject/headline blank, as the template automatically creates the heading "Requested move 20 October 2015". Do not sign a request with ~~~~ as the template does this automatically. The template must be substituted.

Use the code |talk=yes to add separate locations for survey and discussion.

Note: Unlike certain other request processes on Wikipedia, nominations need not be neutral. Strive to make your point as best you can; use evidence (such as Ngrams and pageview statistics) and make reference to applicable policies and guidelines, especially our article titling policy and the guideline on disambiguation and primary topic. After the nomination has been made, nominators may nevertheless add a separate bullet point to support their nomination, but should add "as nominator" (for example,  * '''Rename, as nominator''': ...). Most nominators, however, simply allow the nomination itself to indicate what their opinion is. Nominators may also participate in the discussion along with everyone else, and often should.

RMCD bot notifies any Wikiproject listed on the talk page of the article to be moved to invite project members to participate in the RM discussion. Requesters should feel free to notify any other Wikiproject or Noticeboard that might be interested in the move request.

Requesting multiple page moves[edit]

A single template may be used to request multiple related moves. On one of the talk pages of the affected articles, create a request and format it as below. A sample request for three page moves is shown here (for two page moves, omit the lines for current3 and new3). For four page moves, add lines for current4 and new4, and so on. There is no technical limit on the number of multiple move requests, but before requesting very large multi-moves, consider whether a naming convention should be changed first. Discuss that change on the talk page for the naming convention, e.g., Wikipedia talk:Naming conventions (sportspeople).

{{subst:requested move
| new1 = New title for page 1 with the talk page hosting this discussion
| current2 = Current title of page 2
| new2 = New title for page 2
| current3 = Current title of page 3
| new3 = New title for page 3
| reason = Place here your rationale for the proposed page name change, ideally referring to applicable naming convention policies and guidelines, and providing evidence in support where appropriate. If your reasoning includes search engine results, please default to Google Books or Google News Archive before providing any web results. Do not sign this.}}

For example, to propose moving the articles Wikipedia and Wiki, put this template on Talk:Wikipedia, and replace current2 with Wiki. The discussion for all affected articles is held on the talk page of the article at page 1 (Talk:Wikipedia). Do not sign a request with ~~~~ as the template does this automatically. Do not skip pairs of numbers.

RMCD bot automatically places a notice section on the talk page of the additional pages that are included in your request, advising that the move discussion is in progress, where it is, and that all discussion for all pages included in the request should take place at that one location.

Closing instructions[edit]

Any uninvolved editor in good standing may close a move request, and more closers of move requests are needed, but there are certain procedures that need to be followed. Please read our closing instructions for information on how to close a move request.

Relisting[edit]

Relisting a discussion moves the request out of the backlog up to the current day in order to encourage further input. The decision to relist a discussion is best left to uninvolved experienced editors upon considering, but declining, to close the discussion. Preferably, a reason for the relist will be given. When a relisted discussion reaches a resolution, it may be closed at any time according to the closing instructions.

To relist a move request discussion, simply type <small>'''Relisted'''. ~~~~</small> after the initial request. This can also be done by using {{subst:Relisting}}, which signs the relisting automatically. The RMCD bot uses the new timestamp to relist the entry on this page.

If discussion has become stale, or it seems that discussion would benefit from more input of editors versed in the subject area, consider more widely publicizing the discussion. One option is to notify relevant WikiProjects of the discussion using the template {{RM notification}}. Applicable WikiProjects can often be determined by means of the banners placed at the top of the talk page hosting the move request.

  • (Discuss)Adam and the AmethystsAdam Waito – A side-project that appears to fail WP:MUSIC, but by transferring it to Adam Waito (now a redirect) further details can be added to increase the presence. The content of the article is essentially about Waito himself already. Karst (talk) 13:01, 12 October 2015 (UTC) Relisted. Jenks24 (talk) 09:11, 20 October 2015 (UTC)
  • (Discuss)List of minor characters in Beavis and Butt-headList of Beavis and Butt-head characters
    The current article is a list for minor Beavis and Butt-head characters. Several recurring characters are repeatedly mentioned within article, e.g. Principal McVicker, but do not have a place within the list of characters. By renaming the article from "minor characters" to just plain "characters," e.g. List of Blackadder characters, will open the article for inclusion of all Beavis and Butt-head characters, and the article can be subdivided to separate major recurring characters such as Principal McVicker, from minor characters, all listed on the same article. I have attempted the move myself, however, the move was denied because "The page could not be moved: a page of that name already exists, or the name you have chosen is not valid." I need assistance in order to improve the article through the requested name change; thank you for your assistance.

  • (Discuss)Countess Marianne Bernadotte of WisborgMarianne Bernadotte – Simplest solution is what she uses herself, as known at svWP; confusion about her names & titles recently cleared up with best government sources now published online; name "Bernadotte of Wisborg" does not actually exist anywhere legally, she is countess of Wisborg, also legally has title in the Luxembourg nobility as Princess Bernadotte but rarely uses it. • (Discuss)Momofuku-Milk BarMomofuku Milk Bar – This page was created with a typo in the title, and on move I noticed there was actually an existing redirect with a previous deletion decision (seemingly made without any discussion.) Looking at the old redirect, the original article was started from a request at WikiProject: Food and Drink. This bakery has received plenty of coverage in national news sources, and the head chef has produced two cookbooks based on the desserts, so I'm surprised at the previous deletion-without-discussion. I'd like to move the article to the correct spelling, but want to acknowledge that it's potentially controversial due to the previous deletion decision. In full disclosure I am a campus ambassador that helped the student that wrote the current Momofuku-Milk Bar. AmandaRR123 (talk) 13:31, 19 October 2015 (UTC)
  • (Discuss)BlintzBlini – As many users have previously mentioned on this talk page, current title is misleading. Far more Google search results for "blini" as opposed to "blintz." "Blintz" is hardly even mentioned in the article itself anymore. Oneforfortytwo (talk) 04:48, 11 October 2015 (UTC) Relisted. Jenks24 (talk) 09:12, 19 October 2015 (UTC)
  • (Discuss)Solutions ArchitectSolution Architect – As User:Eeeuk and User:Skipjacker clearly explained, in the earliest talk page entries, the discipline is singular and the convention for <anything> Architect is to use the singular. This is very clearly supported by the Google ngrams for both the discipline's and the practitioner's terms, as seen [here] and, especially, [here], which clearly show the singular is much more common than the plural in the literature. Dhugot (talk) 05:13, 11 October 2015 (UTC) --Relisted. sst 08:13, 19 October 2015 (UTC)
  • (Discuss)Pop Songs (Billboard chart)Pop Songs – I know I proposed a move to an alternative title two years ago, but that was only because it seemed the most convenient title at the time. Now, the most convenient title appears to be this one, which already redirects here anyway. Unreal7 (talk) 09:51, 11 October 2015 (UTC) --Relisted. sst 08:10, 19 October 2015 (UTC)
  • (Discuss)Tai, RiversTai (local government area) – Numerous reliable sources have refererred to this place as Tai local government area or Tai (local government area), hardly ever read where it has been called Tai, Rivers. Here are some instances where Tai local government area has been mentioned; 1, 2, 3 and more. Stanleytux (talk) 11:10, 27 September 2015 (UTC) --Relisted. • (Discuss)Wang Zhiwei (sport shooter)Wang Zhiwei – The user who moved this page here gave the rationale that "There are now two people named Wang Zhiwei on Wikipedia, none are primary". On the contrary, I would argue that this person is the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC, as he seems to be a notable shooter, who has won medals in various competitions (see sport shooting pages here: 1, 2). Also, the other page is currently titled Charles Wang (physician), so it is already disambiguated. Hatnotes would suffice in distinguishing the two people. On second look, it is also not apparently if Charles Wang is notable, but that can be left to another discussion. Natg 19 (talk) 07:47, 19 October 2015 (UTC)
  • (Discuss)The Son Also RisesThe Son Also Rises (Battlestar Galactica) – Format used in other Battlestar Galactica episodes when the title is also used elsewhere. In this case, a notable newish book The Son Also Rises (book) shares the title. I do not think that a Galactica episode should be the primary. The book, a highly creative and widely cited piece of research that has also gotten the attention of general readers, could be the primary, or, if there does not need to be a primary, both can have these name, this name/location used as a disambigulation page. • (Discuss)Dehesa (pastoral management)Montado – Portuguese term montado seems to be somewhat more common in English literature (see below) than Spanish dehesa. It also has an advantage of being unambiguous, so WP:NATURALDIS applies: "Using an alternative name that the subject is also commonly called in English reliable sources, albeit not as commonly as the preferred-but-ambiguous title" No such user (talk) 07:37, 19 October 2015 (UTC)
  • (Discuss)Nanyo (Japanese mandated territory)South Pacific Mandate – The conversation above in 2014 the consensus was "not moved". In May 2015, User:Douglas the Comeback Kid stating in the edit summary that "'Nanyo' was the official name of the territory". This is contrary to the consensus above. I would also argue that it is contrary to both the evidence (see above: Japanese wasn't an official League of Nations Language) and to WP:CommonName. People do not call it "Nanyo" in English. How many English WP:Third party sources that refer to the South Pacific Mandate as "Nanyo"? Because it has been 5 months and no editor has reverted the WP:Bold move, a discussion is probably needed first. Iloilo Wanderer (talk) 03:34, 19 October 2015 (UTC)
  • (Discuss)ShaSha (Cyrillic)Betsythedevine was right, that the Cyrillic letter does not meet PRIMARYTOPIC status. And it's time to bring this discussion up the proper way: not a BOLD move like the original poster did four years ago:

    I am going to move this article to "Sha (Cyrillic)" and then write the re-direct page.

  • (Discuss)Kim Yu-yeon (curator)Yu Yeon Kim – The curator is known internationally in all exhibitions and articles she has curated and authored by the form, "Yu Yeon Kim". While there is a convention WP:NCKO for rendering Korean names in English - this should not warrant changing the use of an established name. In this case, the redirect from Yu Yeon Kim to "Kim Yu-yeon" just causes confusion and is erroneous. The commonly used form of the curator's name in English can be verified on her website http://yuyeonkim.org There currently exists a redirect from the original form "Yu Yeon Kim" to "Kim Yu-yeon" which was implemented by user Sawol on February 11 and again by Tokyogirl79 on August 11. We request that this be reverted to the original form (Yu Yeon Kim) and that this also be protected from further revisions and moves. Sappo (talk) 19:11, 18 October 2015 (UTC)
  • (Discuss)Billie ForresterSally Ann Forrester – this recently edited article primarily describes the subject's inclusion in Bill Monroe's band, The Blue Grass Boys, in which she was referred to as Sally Ann Forrester. Although her earlier nick name was "Billie," most researchers seeking information on her would likely search for Sally Ann Forester. Consequently an appropriate page move with redirect from "Billie Forrester" is requested. Rrgentry (talk) 21:33, 10 October 2015 (UTC) --Relisted. George Ho (talk) 00:21, 18 October 2015 (UTC)

  • (Discuss)Kō ShibasakiKo ShibasakiWP:COMMONNAME, it's the spelling that has been consistently used at her official site and on her DVDs for the past three years, and one used commonly in English print media (e.g. [3], [4], [5], [6]). The spelling Kou Shibasaki is also used in English, but as it reflects the spelling previously used by her and not her current choice, "Ko Shibasaki" is the best option. Prosperosity (talk) 07:19, 17 October 2015 (UTC)
  • (Discuss)Coexist (album)Coexist – The other two articles on the disambiguation page only have "coexist" in part of their titles. It is unlikely that readers searching for just "coexist" would be looking for these two articles. Also, this article has higher page views than the other two articles on the disambiguation page, making it the primary topic for "coexist". sst 02:32, 17 October 2015 (UTC)
  • (Discuss)Peter of Spain (author)Peter of Spain – Mover said it was not primary topic, but the dab s/he created has (i) this guy, (ii) probably the same person and (iii) a red link. In other words, it is clearly the primary topic. – Srnec (talk) 00:03, 17 October 2015 (UTC)

October 16, 2015[edit]

  • (Discuss)Pam Beesly-HalpertPam Beesly – Per WP:MAIDEN, a person who has changed their surname should not have their husband's surname hyphenated with their maiden name unless the hyphenated surname is the name by which they are best known. Pam has never been called anything other than "Pam Beesly" or "Pam Halpert" throughout the series, so it is clear that "Pam Beesly-Halpert" is not an appropriate title. Since Pam spent almost the entire second half of The Office's run with the name "Pam Halpert," I'm inclined to think that that is what we should name the article. However, it is arguable that since "Pam Beesly" was her name for more than half the series, that "Beesly" is the more well-known surname, especially considering that the first five seasons were much more popular than the last four. [edit: Now that I think about it, "Beesly" is probably the way to go—a quick Google search reveals that she's much more well-known by that name outside the show than she is with "Halpert."] I'm fine with either title, as long as it isn't the current one. • (Discuss)IrkallaErsetu – the preference for Ersetu comes from Mesopotamian Cosmic Geography, p. 273:  :Akkadian ersetu is the most common Akkadian name for both the earth and underworld [...] Since Irkalla is also Akkadian (see p. 293), the preference on Wikipedia should also be Ersetu. • (Discuss)Aris F.C. (Thessaloniki)Aris F.C. – This has been back and forth between the two names a couple of times, so is clearly not uncontroversial and needs an RM to determine where it should sit. I have no strong opinions one way or the other but we need to come to consensus here rather than editors moving the page back and forth. Fenix down (talk) 13:22, 16 October 2015 (UTC)

  • (Discuss)Edge (wrestler)Adam Copeland – It's been over a year since the last rename discussion, and Copeland continues to find acting work unrelated to wrestling, for instance his non-trivial role as "Atom Smasher" in the Oct 6, 2015 debut of the second season of The Flash, in which he is credited under his given name sans reference to "Edge". Given the popularity and acclaim The Flash has received, it's reasonable to assume Copeland is now being exposed to a wider viewer demographic unaware of his previous occupation. Froglich (talk) 07:43, 15 October 2015 (UTC)
  • (Discuss)Two Is One (album)Two Is One (2003 album) – the primary topic Two Is One is also an album, therefore the current title should redirect to that topic, since as the primary topic, and is an album, all partial disambiguations which have the same meaning also directly refer to it, WP:PRECISE imprecise and ambiguous disambiguation is bad, so only primary topics can use those. -- 70.51.44.60 (talk) 04:55, 15 October 2015 (UTC)
  • (Discuss)RestarterRestarter (album) – Resubmitted as a multimove after discussion with closer of July 'no consenus' single RM. At the time the only other topic considered apart from this very obscure album (Billboard US album chart number 133) was the main topic in books Restarter (UNIX). However there are other uses in books "Restarter" in the context of Startup company etc. (cf redirect Restarter (entrepreneur) which I have added). This album does not feature in a single Google Book hit for "restarter". Re the frequent misunderstanding that we disambiguate by article title please see WP:DISAMBIGUATION which states that we disambiguate by article content. • (Discuss)Laplet2-in-1 – Seems to be the most common name for the devices the article covers, as evidenced by pages from manufacturers like Intel, ASUS, Dell, HP and Lenovo. Stores such as Amazon, Newegg, BestBuy, and Microsoft Store also use the same term or a variation of. The media is less consistent, often using terms like 'convertible' or 'hybrid', but 2-in-1 is still pervasive. Alternatively 2-in-1 PC could be used instead to reduce ambiguity. • (Discuss)Raymond "Shrimp Boy" ChowShrimp Boy – or Raymond Chow (organized crime) – but not a combination of the two, look at any organized crime figure, all have nicknames but we don't add them in quotations on the middle of their name. We don't have Salvatore "Sammy the Bull" Gravano or Angelo "Quack Quack" Ruggiero. See Wikipedia:Naming conventions (people). It is the Wikipedia style to not embed nicknames, despite how others use it. The rule reads "Notable distinctions can be explained in the article, but avoid (for example) adding a nickname, or a contracted version of the original first name(s) in quotes between first and last name. • (Discuss)Cecil (lion)Death of Cecil the lion – While Cecil may be notable enough for an article on his own, this article is not it. This article is clearly about his death, the effects, palmer etc. All of this content should be moved to a "death of" article, and if a "BLP" needs to be created that focuses on cecil as a whole, then that can be done. . • (Discuss)KwaraKwara (disambiguation) – per WP:PRIMARYTOPIC, Kwara State is the default article for this page. The first link on this disambiguation page is Qwara Province, with an alternative name "K'wara". Per WP:DIFFCAPS, neither "Qwara" nor "K'wara" is the same as "Kwara". The third link on this page is a name of the state football club of Kwara, which derives its name from the same state - Obviously, the club is not the primary topic. Lastly, a quick google search of the term "Kwara" brings up only results related the Nigerian state (News, Web, Books) Jamie Tubers (talk) 16:52, 14 October 2015 (UTC)
  • (Discuss)Full Service (book)Scotty Bowers – Per the criticisms/observations made in the previous move discussion archived on the Talk page, the article has now been substantially revised to include more references external to the book, and reframed it so it can more appropriately revert to an article about Bowers himself. There is a new documentary on his life (entitled "Scotty") being released in 2016 — footage was previewed at this year's Cannes Festival, and this is likely to bring more visitors to a biographical page. • (Discuss)Mint (coin)Mint (facility) – Per WP:AT#DAB. A mint (a facility that manufactures coins and such) is not a coin, it's a facility. The present name implies something more like the topic mint state (of coinage). Furthermore, many mints produce things other than or in addition to coins, such as medallions, medals, tokens, plaques, ingots, etc. (see, e.g., Pobjoy Mint), so the "(coin)" disambiguator was incorrectly narrow to begin with. The disambiguator "(facility)" is sufficiently precise, and also sufficiently broad (i.e., to include both public and private-sector mints, and to include ancient minting operations that may have consisted of three guys and one crucible).  — SMcCandlish ¢ ≽ʌⱷ҅ʌ≼  07:47, 14 October 2015 (UTC)
  • (Discuss)Liu Yan (Bosheng)Liu Bosheng – The point of disambiguation is to not use confusing or hard-to-understand disambiguators, as the current title did. The history book Book of Later Han almost entirely uses his courtesy name "Bosheng" to refer him. If one insists on using his real given name, there's a problem with the character being able to be romanized as either "Yin" or "Yan" (see the section above on this talk page). Even if we disregard this problem, it's hard to find a really good disambiguator. Therefore I think Liu Bosheng is probably the best solution per WP:NATURAL. • (Discuss)Free University of BerlinFreie Universität Berlin – The university itself uses exclusively the untranslated name on its English language website and in foreign language correspondence. Furthermore, there is no evidence that English language sources use a translated version of the name in equal quantity to the real name. Google.com shows 2.5 million hits for "Freie Universität Berlin" whereas only 400k hits for "Free University of Berlin". DE481889 (talk) 18:46, 13 October 2015 (UTC)
  • (Discuss)Stop trickSubstitution splice – Searches on Google Books suggest that "substitution splice" fits the WP:NAMINGCRITERIA much better than the current name: it's used by most writers on the subject, occurring many more times in reputable sources than the term "stop trick" (Recognizability); it accurately describes the technique in question, and can't be confused with the card manipulation technique called the stop trick (Precision); and it's still plenty short enough (Conciseness). Indeed, as a couple of the sources in the article demonstrate, "stop trick" was a misnomer to begin with, since the technique involves splicing film rather than stopping the camera. • (Discuss)Philippine Constitutional Convention election, 19701971 Philippine Constitutional Convention – Ideally there would be two articles, one about the election and one about the convention itself, but we do not live in an ideal world. There is only one article, this one, and it contains limited information related to the election itself. Most of the article involves the convention (including information that I added today :) ) or is a list of the delegates -- winners of the election -- which is just as applicable to a Convention article. An election article should have information about the non-winning candidates, deadlines and vote process, campaign tactics and issues, controversies, etc. -- in other words more than a list of delegates to the convention. Therefore I propose that this article be moved to the "Philippine Constitutional Convention, 1970" with a subsection specifically about the election with redirects pointing to that subsection, effectively combining the two topics (election and convention) into one article. The convention itself is more significant than the election since it was in the midst of the convention that martial law was declared and since the constitution that came out of the convention and the ratification process solidified and legitimatized Marcos's rule. When and if the election subsection has grown big enough then it can be spun off as a separate article. The page is protected and so I cannot WP:Be Bold and do the move and redirect myself. • (Discuss)Ljudski vrtLjudski Vrt Stadium – Proper English capitalization and the general naming pattern of articles about stadiums ([14][15]) as well as taking into consideration that the most often used name for this venue in reliable English sources seems to be Ljudski Vrt in this or that version. --Eleassar my talk 06:52, 13 October 2015 (UTC)
  • (Discuss)Nader's Daghestan campaign → ? – Hello. The region is commonly spelled Dagestan not Daghestan. Otherwise the contemporary article called Dagestan, which is the exact same region part of Russia would be called "Daghestan" too. We don't use alternate names for articles, (which falls partly under WP:COMMONNAME). Furthermore all contemporary and most historical sources refer to it as Dagestan as well, not Daghestan. Daghestan = 390.000 hits, Dagestan = 997.000 hits. Anyway, I can't move the article manually back and the creator of this page changed it to "Daghestan" without a consensus or a factually correct rationale. It has to be moved to "Nader's Dagestan campaign", which is currently a redirect and I can't change it all back manually, thus I had to open this section. - LouisAragon (talk) 06:19, 13 October 2015 (UTC)

  • (Discuss)Nike, Inc.Nike (company) – I'm not sure whether "Inc." is in the title for disambiguation from other things called "Nike" or because it's part of the official name. If it's the latter, then I'm confused as to why Reebok and Adidas's articles don't have their full titles too, but if it's the former, then I'm sure there are better ways to disambiguate, as no one says "Nike Inc." in everyday usage of the brand's name. I also don't get why this can't just be the primary topic. Yes, it was named after the Greek goddess of victory, but I seriously doubt she is still more notable today. • (Discuss)Easy Jet (horse)Easy Jet – Unnecessary disambiguation. There are two related titles "Easy Jet" (the horse) and "EasyJet" (the airline). Per WP:TWODABS, they both have hatnotes pointing to the other page. On a side note, the horse article is a featured article, so I would think that any move of it should be discussed (this is only a personal view, and may have no bearing in any future decisions). – Niceguyedc Go Huskies! 08:52, 12 October 2015 (UTC)
