I work on statistical methods for causal mediation analysis. This field of causal inference is relevant for comparative effectiveness research, evaluating and improving policy recommendations, and explaining biological mechanisms. My dissertation has focused on developing methods and computational tools for mediation analysis under the counterfactual framework in the presence of interactions and measurement error. Currently, I am interested in the analysis of pathways in longitudinal and time to event data.
