How to Be Wicked Cool

Confidence. Being confident means being cool. If you act like you don't have a comfortable confidence level with yourself-no one will determine you as cool or confident. Act like you know what you're doing-but don't over-do it to the point that you are selfish and self-centered.

Getting people to like you, such as having a crush on you- can be hard in junior high and through the high school years. Try to be yourself and don't always focus on having a boyfriend/girlfriend. That is not what means you are cool.

Be natural. Being cool means letting people know what you have to offer to the world, and having them want to idolize you. If you are a teenager, you probably know how the typical school routine goes. There are always the popular kids who always seem to be everywhere and getting all of the attention- and then you feel like you are just one of the crowd. No one needs to feel that way. Eventually-the populars will die out because people will get sick of being around the selfish-clique-like groups, and people will start to notice the normal, interesting people that stand out. You! Do not feel like you have to change for someone else to like you or to understand you.

Dress nicely. You have probably seen some clothing-competition in school, we all have. Wearing nice clothes, unfortunately, is a rather-important part of being cool. Your clothing styles should match, be stainless, and look well-put together. (If your school requires you to wear school uniforms, there is nothing wrong with this. Add some style by a belt, sweater, or headband that resembles your style.)

Get good grades. The jocks on the football team usually always get high grades. The reason for this is that it depends on their college-their future jobs- and much more! The same thing goes for girls also. Getting good grades is extremely important. If you think it's cool to be failing right and left and treating the teachers like they are just anyone on the street is not cool. Your future depends on academic achievements-if you want to work at a grocery store all of your life or end up working at Walmart-then getting bad grades is for you. If you want to work for a big business, magazine, or get an early internship at a company and succeed at a good college-then stick to A's and B's.
