Hey everybody!
I'm a member of staff at the wikiHaus, and I love spending my days on wikiHow - this community is full of dedicated, knowledgeable, and helpful people from all walks of life, and I'm glad to be part of the great work that's being done here. I've worked in several areas of the education field in the past, and I've always been a fan of combining teaching and technology. I love the power that wikis have to bring people together to improve learning and resources: On top of being educational, the process and collaborative nature is just plain fun - and addictive!
I'm British-born but US-raised - so essentially a Californian who still speaks with an accent and drinks a lot of tea. I travel back to the UK to see my nieces and other relatives from time to time - so if you ever need any jetlag or travel tips, let me know! I love hiking, watching and rewatching episodes of The West Wing and Doctor Who, and spending time with friends.
If you've got any questions or concerns for me or just want to reach out, please do so! I always get a kick out of talking to people, and if I can help in the process, that's even better. You can reach me via [email protected] or leave me a Talk message. I'll get back to you as soon as I can!

- Contrary to the popular impression of a hot and sunny California beach, this is the kind I live near (and love):
- I used to live in Southern California, but it generally had too much traffic and sun for my liking, and it seemed to keep catching fire, like this:
- In the past, I've been a nanny, preschool/kindergarten teacher, psychology/family services student, special education inclusion assistant, and behavior support companion. In some of my roles, my job involved playing with toys and kids. Here is some of my best work:

I am awarding Anna this Barnstar for being the trooper that she is. She always presents the community with beyond-superb edits, yet appearing cool and collected at other times. She's helped out in numerous projects and countless ways in getting things done otherwise. Keep up the great work! Thanks. Enjoy this barnstar. |

I award this barnstar to Anna. Since I have joined wikiHow she has always been the one to give me help when it was needed. Not only has she guided me, but she has guided many others and what she does for wikiHow is indispensable. I know she will continue to do this so I find it fitting to award Anna with the Kindness Barnstar for consistent and exceptional kindness while welcoming new editors or helping others. |

Anna has always been so warm and welcoming to everyone. She goes the extreme mile to welcome new wikiHowians, and guide them through their journey on wikiHow. There has never been a moment where she ceases to be kind and warm to anyone, from experienced editor to rocky newbies. She deserves this barnstar very much, yet it still won't light a candle to her amazing kindness. |
