    Josh is one of the best reporters around, but I didn’t want to retweet this until I checked if there was some mitigating context, and yeah, no, he just plain said he hasn’t left the White House in months, two days after his trip to Texas.

    I saw you the night before the election at a rally in Sioux Center, Iowa. You stood side-by-side with Steve King. You were laughing & smiling w him. A couple weeks before, King had told an Iowa TV station that he didn’t think the term “white nationalist” was a bad thing.

    I condemn Rep. Steve King’s comments on white supremacy; they are offensive and racist - and not representative of our state of Iowa. We are a great nation and this divisiveness is hurting everyone. We cannot continue down this path if we want to continue to be a great nation.

    Americans should demand that their President speak to the country and publicly respond to the NYT report. Senators & Representatives from both parties should demand it. He shouldn't be permitted to hide & manufacture a new crisis he can use to try to distract the country.

    The White House has called a lid for the day, per pooler , which means we won’t see Trump the rest of the day — unclear whether there is a lid on his tweets.

    Wow, just learned in the Failing New York Times that the corrupt former leaders of the FBI, almost all fired or forced to leave the agency for some very bad reasons, opened up an investigation on me, for no reason & with no proof, after I fired Lyin’ James Comey, a total sleaze!
