Trademarks Systems Maintenance & Ongoing EFS-Web Issue
Trademarks Systems Maintenance
The USPTO will be performing maintenance affecting several Trademarks Systems beginning at 12 a.m. and ending by 6 a.m. (possibly on a frequent basis for the near future).
The systems listed below may be intermittently unavailable during these maintenance periods:
- Trademark Official Gazette (TMOG) – The TMOG referenced will be unavailable during the maintenance period however, the PDF version of the gazette will be available.
- Trademarks Next Generation Identification Manual for Acceptable Goods and Services (TMNG IDM). The TMNG IDM referenced will be unavailable during the maintenance period however, the legacy version of the ID Manual will be available.
- Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS)/Trademark Electronic Application System International (TEASi) – The TEAS Plus form using the ID Manual NG will not function during the maintenance. The remainder of the TEAS/TEASi forms may experience outages and mark images will not be available.
- Trademark Status and Document Retrieval (TSDR)
Ongoing EFS-Web Issue
EFS-Web Acknowledgement Receipt (N417) and Fee Transmittal (WFEE): Some EFS-Web submissions filed on Dec 22 and Dec 27 did not receive an acknowledgement receipt (N417) and correct fee transmittal (WFEE).
Technical teams are aware of this problem and are actively working to resolve it. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Systems Maintenance
USPTO will perform maintenance affecting several systems beginning at 2 a.m. and ending at 5 a.m., Saturday, April 9 ET.
The following systems will be unavailable during the maintenance period:
- Electronic Patents Assignment System (EPAS)
- Electronic Trademarks Assignment System (ETAS)
- Office of Enrollment and Discipline Roster of Patent Attorneys/Agents (OEDCI)
E-FOIA Maintenance
USPTO will perform maintenance affecting the Electronic Freedom of Information Act (EFOIA) application beginning at 10 p.m. and ending at 11:59 p.m., Monday, April 11 ET.
E-FOIA will be unavailable and users should not attempt to accesses E-FOIA during the maintenance period.
