    In the '80s uniforms were more functional & also gave women a uniform allowance that was equal with men!

    Due to growing complaints, the female uniform was quickly changed in 1974. Dresses still available, but also pants and hiking shoes.

    The 70s saw a shift in style and color, but functionality remained at an all time low. Imagine hiking Ryan Mountain in a dress and heels!

    Many female had to forgo parts of the uniform to perform their duties. The shoes in the '60s had a heel and were not comfortable.

    Skip ahead to the 1930s and 40s when women's uniforms began to be standardized. Notice the switch to skirts and a small hat.

    Road closures include Odell, Big Horn Pass, and Geotour roads. Park staff are working to get roads open again soon.

    Most dirt roads are currently closed due to rain and flood damage. They will likely be closed through the weekend and until further notice.
