gwendy is an outreach librarian, runner, beekeeper, mother, and avid reader of fiction. She loves wearable tech, is addicted to her iPhone, and knows just enough about coding to be really annoying. She was a technical writer in a former life, and while it stomped out her creative voice, the skill she developed is plenty useful around the Wikisphere. She grew up playing with toads and bugs, which is where her love for the biological sciences stems.
