    IDC too much about “rap beefs”, but do care about journalistic integrity: politics, sports, or music. And some of the folks writing reviews that Machine Gun Kelly’s response to Eminem wasn’t good are simply being dishonest. It was strong on multiple levels.

    I hate to admit this but I'm buying his jersey ASAP and so is my partner if that happened. It's a residue of capitalism that even I can't overcome.

    NFL team that sign Kaepernick will not only get better on field but will gain more fans and jersey sales to offset the old crusty bigoted fans they would lose because police accountability is not important to them

    Cool piece here by about the African American Nascar pioneer, Wendall Scott. The odds he battled were staggering. (Sadly, he wasn't the Jackie Robinson of racing. There are still few black people in motorsports, except for drag racing.)

    Same with those that suffer from severe mental illness When ppl have judged me in the past, I just think (or want to scream) you have no idea what it is - what it COSTS - the suffering endured by their partner just to survive them, their psychosis, their abuse of self and you...

    IDK about Mac Miller’s life, but I know addiction. My father, a great man, was also life-long alcoholic, & my mother rightfully left him cuz he drained the blood of those who loved him. Anyone who believes a partner is obligated to ride out the addiction has never loved an addict

    I stayed with an alcoholic for 13 years. He beat me, raped me, stole from me, isolated me from everyone who cared about me, much of it during blackouts, which he had frequently. I wish I had 13 years of my life back.

    Psychologically, the toughest addicts to deal with are great loving people when they are sober. Then loved ones absorb much more pain for much longer in hopes to “fix them”. Even a 1% chance of recovery seems like good odds. And you can destroy your own life shooting for that 1%.
