    Tried moving an app into a group as it was downloading (which usually goes without a hitch) but instead made a non-functional copy of the icon (which disappeared after restart), so I present this as the strangest (and least reproducible) iOS bug:

    The ISBA has expelled José-Miguel Bernardo, Brad Carlin, and Steve Scott, and revoked Bernardo's and Carlin's fellowships. Nothing can undo the harm that these men caused, but I'm glad to see a professional society take this seriously.

    Every time I need to do a report in RMarkdown I keep remembering that I want to make a WMF-branded template for internal use, and every time I try to learn how to go about doing that I get super overwhelmed and just give up.

    Oh my god this is going to be such a saver, thank you! And, I realize now, adding identity() at the end of a %>% sequence enables the same for manipulation pipelines.

    One of my favorite ggplot2 tricks, which I learned on the Slack group: add "NULL" to the end of your ggplot chain so you can comment out a command without ending with a "+" E.g. ggplot(diamonds, aes(price)) + geom_point() + # geom_density() + NULL
