Right now, unfortunately, individuals have to email our v small support team and we literally just pass on the message but we’re looking at a more public method that could also allow members to follow up more easily and accept/reject suggested corrections/additions.

My understanding is that doesn't clean up metadata, fixing bibliographic and citation records is the responsibility of the upstream data provider (i.e. the publisher).

We pick up millions of preprints and match them to the papers, even when they don't explicitly link to DOI, by using fuzzy fingerprint matching on biblio (title, author, etc). Right now, VERY few preprints in Crossref system, but once they are, will make job much easier :)
