    Real: Hughes Glomar Explorer raised Soviet K-129 ballistic missile submarine sunk in 1968 Cover: Howard Hughes owned the ship & was using it to mine manganese nodules from ocean floor The artifact is a nodule Glomar actually did recover from Pacific.
