    Cable friction means the unwinding wasn't smooth for me, and once the USB-C cable popped the clasp open. But it works. It's particularly refreshing if you miss the "horns" that Apple previously offered to wind up cables. 4/4

    It comes with adapters so you can fit various sided power bricks inside. Taking out all the shims leaves room for Apple's biggest for MacBook Pros. Mine fit snugly and was easy to slot in. Magnets and a plastic clasp keep it closed. 3/4

    If you plug your power brick straight into the wall today, don't bother. But if you also attach the cord extension, the Side Winder reduces clutter dramatically. You wind up cords onto the device, out of the way. When you need them, you pull the cord ends and they unspool. 2/4

    Quick mini-review of the Fuse Reel Side Winder, a $30 accessory to keep control over MacBook power cords and power supplies. TL;dr: it's bulky but way less bulky than the alternative, so handy for travel or commuting. 1/4
