    This is an over-extension of copyright that will diminish accessible content online and help consolidate power among only those platform big and rich enough to comply with preemptive automatic filtering engaging in even merit less lawsuits.

    Wikimedia envisions an Internet that does not have filters and blocks. The current EU proposal contradicts this vision.
