    When puberty is about to begin, the darker area of the nipple may begin to grow as the breast/nipple area starts to puff out — feeling like little lumps on the chest. These are called breast buds, and they may grow 2-3 years before menstruation begins.

    Tbh I dunno what I’d do without . Went on a run today where my muscles were tighter than usual; logged it in Clue and ended up reading their research about how ligament elasticity changes throughout the cycle. Had no idea!

    Ever have days that are a total blah and writeoff - and then you check your cycle and realise it’s TOTALLY HORMONAL and actually there is no mass conspiracy to give you a 💩 day?? thanks for the help today

    Certain bleeding conditions, medications (i.e. birth control) and infections can affect menstrual bleeding, and cause irregular spotting. With all of these external factors, a "normal" period volume can be difficult to ascribe.
