Instead of scanning a fixed set of locations like

  • /isodevice/Applications
  • /isofrom/Applications
  • /run/initramfs/isoscan/Applications
  • /run/archiso/img_dev/Applications
  • /lib/live/mount/findiso/Applications

we should scan /Applications in every mounted partition.

This would give us support for distirbutions like Manjaro, where the Live medium is mounted at /run/miso/img_dev,

This should be done after #48 will be done.
From #48:

I guess the initial solution could be leaving the name user_id but allow the user identification field to be changed, and then make the change user_id -> user in next major version (0.5.0?, 1.0.0?). Probably user_id should be deprecated first, and then removed altogether.

Currently missing details on the correct process used to deploy a new version when required. Things like:

  • Uses Github pages so changes need to be merged into the gh-pages branch
  • What method is used for merging? (cherry-pick, rebase etc)
  • Sample CLI commands on how to merge into gh-pages
  • Information on the process after the merge (how long it will take, is it automatic etc)
