    Occasionally authors write villains, who do villainous things.

    When I'm writing fiction, the things I have my characters do don't necessarily reflect my personal moral code (and sometimes contravene it completely).

    On the day of the AP US history exam, a fellow student asked me who Eisenhower was. I said he was among other things President from 1953 to 1961. My fellow student said "oh, makes sense, I only just finished reviewing through the end of World War II." I still think about this.

    This is how meme accounts grow even faster. Once it has enough followers, they lock the account so that anyone who wants to share a funny meme with their friend via DM forces their friend to have to follow the meme account *first* in order to see what their friend sent them.
