A Washington Post report identifies Jared Kushner, President Trump's son-in-law, as one of the officials who was originally denied clearance.

In 2016, Craig Cunningham collapsed on the ice before an AHL game due to cardiac arrest. In the hospital, doctors had to amputate his leg. Less than three years later, he's back to playing hockey thanks to a prosthetic fitted with a skate blade.

In 2018, Michael Bennett was indicted for allegedly pushing past a security guard at Super Bowl LI to celebrate with his brother Martellus, who had just won with the Patriots. The charges were widely criticized at the time and have now been dropped due to a lack of evidence.
