    . Back around the beginning of the COVID-19 crisis, someone left their cool Al Ghiorso mug out on the picnic table outside Bldg 80, where it remained for months. It has now been cleaned up & placed in the main mug cabinet near the fridge 😊

    ALS Ringleader, Research Scientist Roland Koch, became fascinated with synchrotron work at BESSY in Germany. He has been at the ALS ever since he finished his PhD and is happy to teach others everything from getting more meaningful data to flying a plane.
