    it's not twitter that's broken, it's the internet. at every step of the way we've let the digital commons be overrun by corporate interest and now we stand inside each of our fenced off spaces yelling across the divide, hoping it's better in someone else's pasture.

    Really, really, really annoyed at the current tendency of ML research to pursue frivolous goals. There's a LLM explaining jokes, another model for generating art based on text, another to predict 'perceived trustworthiness' of faces... whatever that means. 1/

    4 kittens were found without their mother at an office building (Ulsoor Road). They are barely a month old and are in urgent need of a foster home. They have been taken to the vet for an initial check-up, and been prescribed eye drops to curb eye infection. 1/2

    Okay let's assume that I don't know Marx ,assume I didn't have the privilege to read Marx . Tell me something,did Marx talk about annihilation of caste or even the caste system? Did I miss out anything on that? I know Ambedkar and that is enough for addressing my problems .

    It is nothing new that Kejriwal is today silent on how bulldozers are used against Muslim houses in Delhi. He also remained silent when bulldozers were used against scheduled caste houses last year in Delhi. And Not only Kejriwal but you all too remained silent, back then.

    Very excited for (and a tiny bit of my thinking and work) to be shared at at today on why the definition of farmers in tech policy circles have to expanded to include marginalised/women who are not landowners but contribute greatly.

    Looking forward to attending the 'Feminist Voices about Ecological Issues in HCI' online workshop, CHI 2022! 🙌🏽 Reading the other submissions blew my mind. Grateful to have access to these ways of thinking. Can't wait!
