    A rollover in an auto polo match was dangerous, as your car didn't have a roof. There's also a large jet of what looks like hot steam shooting out of the engine.

    Auto polo, devised by a Ford dealer, was described by a British car magazine as "a lunatic game." Players called mallet men held onto the sides of cars while trying to hit a basketball with a three-pound polo mallet. ~5,000 people attended a match in 1912.

    Encouraging students to publish their work in the open maybe changes the nature and goal of assessment, orienting it away from the grade towards the audience. Recongnises student work as making knowledge instead of 'just practising' making knowledge.
