    Last night, our members attended in-person and virtually at the Bloomington City Council meeting, where they adopted, unanimously, a resolution endorsing our union and our strike!

    Just a reminder for people following that grad workers at IU are striking for living wages & other demands. IU admin has been stubborn not meeting for a dialogue. That needs to change. Parents, alumni, demand IU meet us and recognize our union.

    The secular opposition in the country is content giving a consolidated statement against communal hate. None of them will get on the streets, none of them will stand in the way of Muslim houses being demolished, to take collective measures against the hate. Muslim blood is cheap

    This sent shiver down my spine. We have to speak up against this. The Police and Judiciary have decided to look the other way and these Saffron goons are taking it to their advantage. Imagine the number of people getting radicalised by listening to these hatemongers. Scary.

    top iu admins got 250k (>70%!) increase in pay from 2012-2020. in 2012, the (~140) admins received 70% as much as (~2000) grad students. in 2020 that amt is 90%. we spend so much time justifying why we deserve a living wage while they keep giving themselves raises
