    Page from the log book of uses of the Lovell Telescope in July 1969. Lab 5 was the space tracking lab. Wonder what they were up to between the 6th and 21st July 🤔🚀🌛

    ... Husband was of course the engineer responsible for the design and construction of the 250-foot Telescope at Jodrell (now called the Lovell Telescope). He subsequently worked on many others including the 600-foot Sugar Grove and Goonhilly 1.

    This is good to see but I worry it pushes action too far into future & balances continued emissions with untested carbon capture. Fifty years after the Moonlanding, we need an Apollo style commitment to combat climate change & the environmental emergency.
