    thank you all for the answers. I threw them in a pot on the stove for half an hour, tasted it, and realized I had made a grave error. it was so many bones 😭 guess I'm just gonna have to eat a lot more chicken now.

    Culinary twitter: I threw three chickens worth of bones in the oven, hoping to brown them before making stock. I completely charred them. Worth attempting a stock, or a lost cause?

    As part of the curfew, vehicle traffic in Manhattan is closed below 96th. It took weeks and weeks of hand-wringing the mayor to close a few miles of streets during a global pandemic.

    Image that sticks in my mind from last night: There's a mosque on Fulton and a number of Muslim-owned businesses surround it. As the protest passed through this enclave, the Muslim shopkeepers handed out water bottles and cheered from their storefronts. You truly love to see it.
