    Q: Which leg had the most microplastics in its samples so far? - So far we found the greatest total number of microplastics in surface waters on Leg 2, through the North Atlantic Gyre. But the largest amount we found in a single trawl (>300 pieces of plastic) was on Leg 5.

    A great success for the crew onboard Leg 8 of Round the World! Arriving safely in Tahiti last week, they made their way back to their home countries across the globe. 2,382 nautical miles over 19 days experiencing every kind of weather from sunshine to heavy rains.

    This day 3 years ago, we completed eXXpedition Caribbean 2017! Led by eXXpedition co-founder , during this mission the resilient women onboard S/V Sea Dragon hopped between islands, sampling waters, surveying waste and working together to create change for our ocean.
