Describe the bug
The Motrix icon on the taskbar is small; and for presenting various details in your drawing, is not something pleasant to visualize.
I suggest you create a new (simpler) icon. Showing the percentage (in color) of the completed download.

BitBar will not center the text, and it will not adjust the font size to auto-fit the two lines in the menu bar.

The script instructions say the first argument is the path to the installer, but it does no use this argument and instead looks for Sierra, then Capitan, then etc. installers. This causes confusion if you have multiple installers including Sierra, but want to run the script on so

The suggested command uses ping vs opening a browser, this is not correct because the browser does a HTTP request, while ping simply sends a ICMP packet.
The correct command would be using wget or curl.

You guys should probably remove the sudo from pip install from your "How To Use" section in your readme (I'm not sure whether PIP drops privileges these days, but either way it's bad practice and some people will probably follow your instructions line by line).
