On April 2, Navy Captain Crozier of the USS Theodore Roosevelt was fired for writing a letter demanding action be taken to address a COVID-19 outbreak on his ship. He was cheered by his crew for his leadership but dismissed anyway. Less than two weeks later, one of his sailors is dead because of the virus.
