    An chick can take up to 48-50 hours to hatch. Grateful to for a special incubator donated to help cope during egg season. for more info on rescue and hand-rearing.

    We would like to discourage members of the public from attempting to be in the area around the as this may cause unnecessary stress.

    NEWSFLASH! King Penguin to be relocated for its own safety! ... he has moved further onto the parking area, near the entrance of the picnic site at Buffels Bay, and is at risk of overheating and being hit by a car. More info ➡️

    Our Clinical Veterinarian assessed a ashore at Cape Point today, a long way from the Subantarctic Islands, but appears healthy & in good condition. Public urged to keep a safe distance while monitors its presence.
