    Honestly this is what thrills me about — changing the way we build software, not just how we respond when prod breaks.

    Honeycomb is my new favorite development environment debugger. I'm sure I'll love it in production and all, but once all the instrumentation is in, it's amazing for debugging.

    we've revamped our pricing. which is an underwhelming way of saying that honeycomb is now the most straightforwardly and affordably priced option available in the APM, monitoring or observability markets. i am kind of ridonkulously excited about this change. 8mo in the hopper.

    I've been wanting to try out 's free plan on a side project, and there were no Ruby OpenTelemetry exporters. So I've started one. It's still quite rough. But data is flowing in.
