I got accepted to present at 2020 devroom. Unfortunately LLVM foundation wasn't able to help me financially because of I'm a minor (16 years old). If you know a company which might offer such a grant to a talk related with both LLVM and Python please let me know.

In the 1960's 11 deaf men helped NASA get to the moon. They were known as the Gallaudet Eleven. We were able to interview one of their remaining members, David Myers, for my show Xploration Outer Space. A thread.

, is an SDK to make any app - of any kind - work offline more easily. Very cool. If you're a dev, it goes from a good looking free plan to full enterprise support.

Well, Conservative followers, however few, congratulations. If any of you are members, try to remind the party that business and the Union only exist in a society and only thrive in the long term when it is healthy and more equal. The same goes for very rich people, incidentally.

See y'all in a week. I have been led to believe there's an indoor fireplace so if you need to, contact me via the Floo network or the patterns left on the bottom of the mug by these blocks of hot chocolate.

Yes, I know it's a bit of a unicorn position. Arts orgs, non profits, a specific kind of small co. If you don't seek, you won't find.

Looking for a flexible disability-aware junior front-end role for someone. Flexible = part time, remote, or other kinds of flexible. Fine art and graphic design background (print and web). Will be an excellent asset to the field and will find her way in somehow.

She had so much potential, not to mention what how much she had already realised. A sharp mind, to cut through problems and bullshit alike. A large heart, to understand us all and the threads that connect us. An infectious smile reflected her world so we could see it. Why?

I don't get it. I didn't know her *that* well, but she left a very, very distinct impression. I mean, I know (roughly) why someone would take their life. It's more that the world overall makes a little less sense today. I keep thinking 'why' every few hours. Idk why I ask it.

The way we handle knowledge acquisition almost actively selects for creating experts who are terrible at explaining their knowledge: We teach by failing anyone who can't make the intuitive leap themselves, and people are shit at explaining their intuitive reasoning.
