numerous boxes in grey with with text appear on startup, they are random letters listed, clicking on them does nothing, possibly an image/icon is missing or language is not recognized, using Mac version

The current HUD feature only a health bar. We should add an amount of lives as well.

Additionally, the player may gain more lives by hitting certain high scores. #13
