Currently if too many messages come through, the programs hangs up and doesn't add the trade to the current trades notification box...

Possible reason: Slow hard drive.

Our plan for the release of 1.0.0 is to release it once we have tested and adjusted the price filters (coming in version 0.6.0). We will add quality of life features and bug fixes between 0.6.0.

Possibly within two weeks, we will "officially" launch Sidekick.

I'm an enterprise Java dev and PoE addict and this project looks very interesting.

I would potentially like to contribute to the code, but I'm finding the project structure a little unintuitive. I admit to very little JavaFX experience though.

It would be great if you could add a small "Contributing Guide" section to the readme. Just a few simple points would help a lot. For example:
