As discussed on IRC, I personally found the naming of project/databases confusing at first. so I propose instead:

• Project: maybe using "File" is better? Dunno, but it corresponds to a unique file hash. Otherwise "Project" is fine
• Database: I think "Snapshot" is better, but is up to you.

On Windows, the checked-in symlink java/BinExport/src/main/proto/binexport2.proto -> binexport2.proto cannot be followed.

Possible solutions:

• Have Gradle copy the file before the build
• Figure out a (supported) way to only specify a single proto file to the protoc compiler from Gradle.

client should have python3.x installed (that's trivial), rename the ~/ida7.4/plugins/idapython*.disabled and run ~/ida7.4/idapyswitch.

btw, great project.

The API documentation is not up to date, and the rest of the doc could use some freshening and additions.

If someone started a matching task and nobody added a remote IDB to diff against,
the GUI would just wait there until getting an empty diffing dialog, (which would take quite long).

One must notify the source that there is no diffing target and they should either add one or just
submit the result, (this relates to the export only option : [ ).
