Perhaps it was just me, but when I typed yarn Ubuntu suggested:
Command 'yarn' not found, but can be installed with:
sudo apt install cmdtest
which, of course, is not what is needed. This post gives nice simple instructions. Maybe something along these lines could be added to the README?

The website of user and code documentation about Qudi does not show any images.
When does this occur?
Where on the platform does it happen?
The current description ("Basic experiment framework for tensorflow.") is somewhat out of date. How about updating it to something along the lines of:
"Light-weight, framework-agnostic machine learning experiment framework."

When no frame is specified, and when no root and classname options are specified, the default choice, should be className = centered and root = 'container' (the id of an element in the default frame).
