    Beat Saber XIX, a compilation map of the most popular maps the past year for now released! It's been fun to make, and after 5 months we're finally releasing! Includes Hard-Expert+ (Harder than OST though), excerpts from 15 songs, all here:

    The reason for this is that all these maps have multiple audio tracks to choose from. The conversion simply didn't retain their individual names so all .eggs got the same name which the game couldn't extract.

    Good news! My maps can now all be downloaded again! Because of the format conversion on Bring It On, Hello Morning, Lonely God, Hibikase V2, Ike Ike and POPSTARS couldn't be extracted properly by the game. Now they can!

    Hearing talk in BloqTalk about maps needing a "gimmick" of sorts that fits the song I can't agree more. You like a song for its uniqueness, the map should reflect this! One reason it takes me a long time to map songs, making all maps fit the song perfectly.

    Concerning my maps (those by "Kolezan") quite a few of them have multiple sound files (like main song, karaoke, instrumental or cover versions) it seems that the format conversion has broken all of those maps in-game just because of this. I'll update them ASAP...!

    Redmagi made an awesome play through video with Full Body Tracking of my map for Giga-P - Bring It On seen here: For those who who don't know, it's my only map to feature Chroma Lights (separate from Custom Map Colors) and it's demonstrated nicely here!

    I'm probably one of the few mappers who would say this, but in one of my current projects I really enjoy making the lower difficulties. The challenge of keeping the original idea of a pattern and making something that feels the same but plays simpler/easier is fun.

    It's rather funny to see top mappers of custom maps for struggle with making lower difficulties. Like, dude, it's the harder diffs that are hard to do, not the easier ones! :P At least to me.

    Just wanna post a quick reminder about , ya'll know the game is coming out of early access, but please don't howl on the devs about mods breaking, and custom songs not working - they aren't officially part of the game. The mod group I'm sure are working hard too! 😤

    You want more of my Hard diffs? Aalto invited me to make a Hard diff for the song Kuru Kuru Pa by Lamaze-P and so I did. It's released now and can be found here: Fun fact: I made the whole Diff on an airplane to Asia, never playtested it myself.
