It seems that mozjpeg simply removes the alpha value

There is notice on the website not to use version 1.0, and to check your version using specified command.

However, the command is incorrect.
It says

pngquant -v

when in fact there should be capital V

pngquant -V

Over the weekend, I wrote a short twitter thread on how resampling methods can affect file size (at least for PNGs of user interfaces and similar stuff well-suited to lossless formats). I wonder if a short section on this would be welcome, @addyosmani? If so, let's prioritize it somewhere.

It would be nice if the config file had a path option to add another location to the search path. Ideally a list of paths to search, but a single path suffices for my purposes. I've already patched our own local version with an ugly hack, but I figure other users could probably benefit from a properly-written patch. This seems like a more user-friendly option than modifying the PATH environment

It will be great if it's allowed to customize the commit message of imgbot, so that we can use conventional commit format without failing commitlint check.

The version of posterizer provided in ImageAlpha is different from posterize as it exists in this repo. This becomes evident when running the following:

$ posterize -v 64 test.png test.png
MSE=20.288 (Q=43, 64 levels)
$ wc -c test.png
210715 test.png

$ /Applications/ImageAlpha.app/Contents/MacOS/posterizer -v 64 test.png test.png 
MSE=17.192 (Q=50, 64 levels)
$ wc -c
