    I don’t get people arguing to not wear masks in stores. If you go to somebody’s house and they say take your shoes off then that’s what it is. You follow the rules cuz you a visitor or you just leave. You don’t own the grocery store. You not Harris Teeter

    Wow, even the Schlapp family is wavering in its devotion to Trump

    Really bummed my Mom, sister and nephew canceled their trip to the Tulsa rally at the last minute due to all the concerns of violence. Clearly good people are worried about safety. It's beyond time for America to think about who will reestablish security in our neighborhoods

    The worst instance of this is the veneration of Top Gun anti-hero Maverick

    This is actually what people take away. Show creators think they are setting up these ingenious anti-hero plots with subtext, but people’s urge to root for protagonists generally wins out. ie, Michael Lewis on all the people who read Liar’s Poker and decided to join Wall Street.

    As a WH lawyer I worked on EO 13526 restructuring the classification system. I have held TS/SCI clearance. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I get why NSC was upset that a staffer initially cleared the book. It will be tough to win a conviction, but Bolton is exposed.

    I just finished the Bolton book. Shocking regarding Trump—& Bolton. The book contains information that is, was, or should be classified. The place to share this information was in impeachment, not in a book. It may well be evidence in 2 prosecutions: Trump’s — & Bolton’s.

    This is...truly terrible. Transparency of stress test results is the reason the financial crisis stress tests were effective. Fed literally making mistakes avoided successfully previously.

    Unbelievable. Fed VC Quarles has trumpeted the importance of transparency in stress testing at every turn (always to banks' benefit), yet the Fed will not be publishing the bank by bank results of its additional COVID-related analyses.
