    & call for solidarity. 'The lives & livelihoods of hundreds of millions Africans are at stake ... due to economic impacts of COVID-19 measures ...It is a matter of human rights necessity that there be international solidarity with the people of Africa'

    I welcome the initiative of as Chairman of the . We should always seek african solutions to african problems. We should by all means avoid repetition of Libya tragedy because of undue external intervention and interference.

    Discussions were very constructive and consensus was reached that the three countries would conclude an agreement on this historic project in the next few weeks through an AU-led process.
