The issues:
- NetBean's Output Window is rendered with black text on white background, which is in a stark contrast to the the rest of NetBean's (dark colored) UI

Maybe it looks really nice if the content of the page scrolls over the background image, meaning that the image holds it position on the screen and everything move above it. Maybe this is just a CSS issue.

The Cinnamon main menu is so big that it takes up nearly the entire height of my laptop screen. How can I make it smaller, say half the screen height?
