Since we include the nvramcui payload (developed as part of the coreboot repo) for doing NVRAM settings, we should be able to point to some docs. It would help to have a list of available settings, see merge/skulls#57

Could you compare thinkfan to thermald? Does thermald provide a superset of thinkfan in that it scales CPU frequency and fan speed?

I have used the installation instructions to try to install this utility but to no avail. Then i tried instead of pip install (since pip by its own defaults to python2) python3 -m pip install and it worked. Please fix the small error in the instructions.
