Travis supports multiple types of outbound notifications on build status: https://docs.travis-ci.com/user/notifications/ - most useful for LU is probably sending pings to the LU-focused lists on dev deploys, and possibly to additional, more public lists on live deploys:

The hud modifier doesn't present the intended behavior: Depending on circumstances, the modifier doesn't work at all, in some instances it hides only part of the hud elements, and in others it fully disables them, but you cannot re-enable them.
Results seem to vary depending on emulator and ROM.
