I was going an org I manage and saw that I didn't have an org-wide code of conduct, so wanted to check if CC had an updated. Noticed that the 2.0 version came out - cool! - but the changelog wasn't updated - womp womp.

Would be awesome if someone more knowledgeable about the update could get that updated (I'm reading through it now myself, might get a chance to make the PR).

I'll preface my question by stating: I want to have a CoC for my group. I agree with the movement, and I'm not trying to introduce FUD. This is a legitimate question.

MSVC on Windows prepends padding instructions to functions for alignment (it currently uses the CC opcode for this and a 16-byte alignment for all functions by default). We currently preserve those instructions as "gap functions", but they should be safe to discard. We could add a pass that scans all gap functions and trims them by removing all CC (and even 90 as well) opcode.
