I should also say that you can also support my open source community work on Sponsors - I would be most grateful.

I've been looking for a simple phrase to define the generally-accepted meaning of "open" in a technology context. Best so far: It's "open" if the work product can be used, improved and shared for any purpose without obstruction or required negotiation.

Thanks & ( too) for having on to speak about IEEE SA Open. Extremely interesting. Amongst other things, am loving the more refined "drinking one's own wine" phrase. A lot more elegant than "eating your own dog food" :D

Hey , your ePrint service is all fine and dandy but it can't handle the international Open Document Format (ODF) standard despite ODF being usable in all mainstream office tools. Why is that? You handle DOCX, after all.

Seems crazy that Denmark has decided to keep the source of its C19 tracker secret. As if there aren't enough barriers to success already.

Using OpenOffice? Get up-to-date with LibreOffice, a successor project! (OpenOffice's last major release was back in 2014.) LibreOffice has extra features, better MS Office compatibility, and regular releases with security updates. And it's still free:
